(Iftar Taxi) is a youth social initiative to promote the spirit of love and social solidarity

Damascus (ST): Young, Mona Omki, despite her disability, did not hesitate to deliver breakfast meals since the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan to those who deserve it from those in need, as part of an initiative she launched with the help of a team of Syrian youth entitled “Iftar Taxi” during which food is provided by those who can afford. The young woman and her companions then deliver it to those who deserve it of needy families.

Mona took it upon herself to help others with the help of young people who share the same goals of giving, indicating that they are preparing in advance lists of the names of needy families and their whereabouts to be announced daily through the initiative’s page about the places for distributing meals.

She said: From the time of Iftar until Suhoor, we distribute meals offered by many families with the aim of instilling the values of love and social solidarity in the areas of Sahnaya, Darayya, Douala’a, Kashkool, Jaramana, Al-Qadam and Babila.
