From the very beginning of the crisis in Syria, the US has adopted a hypocrite stand towards terrorism in Syria. Many US officials have been claiming that the US administration is keen on combating terrorism, but in reality the US ordered its Western allies and regional and Arab tools to offer financial and military support to the terrorist groups operating in Syria and Iraq.
The so-called moderate opposition has been taken by the US and its allies as a pretext to offer unlimited support to terrorist groups.
Arming the so-called “moderate opposition” contradicts and derails the efforts of the UN Envoy Staffan de Mistura to freeze fighting in Aleppo city.
A lot of evidence was collected during the past few months on the US direct involvement in creating the ISIS and supporting it. News reports said that the American armed forces had released the leader of the terrorist organization of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
In a report, the CNN said that the U.S. Forces captured al-Baghdadi in Fallujah in 2004. The channel reported that according to a Pentagon spokesman, a review board recommended his unconditional release.
This new evidence proves that this man, who had proclaimed himself the Caliph of all Muslims, is just a pawn in the hands of the U.S. administration used to achieve its goals in the region.
Evidence on the US involvement in supporting terrorism was also mentioned by former US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton in her book “Hard Choices”. She said that al-Baghdadi and his organization, which is financed by the regime of Saudi Arabia, the primary supporter of terrorism in the region and the world, are the creation of the U.S. administration whose sole purpose is to carry out its so-called “New Middle East Project.”
Analyzing al-Baghdadi’s personality, terrorism expert at Soufan Group Richard Barrett, believes the time spent by al-Baghdadi in U.S custody motivated him to build his base of fighters.
In the past few days, a photo went viral on social networks, showing al-Baghdadi with U.S. Senator John McCain near the Syrian–Turkish borders. According to some political analysts and experts on terrorism, this photo is plain evidence of the U.S. role in creating this terrorist and the organization he leads, noting that McCain visited a number of terrorist organizations in Syria and Iraq during the past three years, providing them with different types of support.
Some media outlets also spoke recently about al-Baghdadi as working with Israeli intelligence agency the Mossad.
With each passing day, new information surfaces in the media around the world, revealing the CIA’s role in creating this terrorist organization, which is committing brutal crimes against the people of the region including massacres, displacement, abduction, and rape.
Even the so-called coalition which was created by the US to combat terrorism was not serious, because the ISIS still receives aids dropped by unidentified aircrafts. The US and the so-called anti-ISIS coalition claim that they have launched a campaign against this terrorist and criminal group – while supplying them with weapons, food and medicine. This explicitly displays the falsity of the coalition’s and the US’ claims.
The international coalition is not serious about air strikes on ISIS terrorists, because combating terrorism should be carried out in coordination with the governments which have been fighting against terrorism for four years.
