HOMS, (ST)_Homs Department of Antiquities received on Tuesday a number of unique archaeological pieces that were stolen and buried by terrorist organizations during the years of the terrorist war in order to be smuggled outside Syria.
The Secretary of the National Museum in Homs, Lubaba Al-Ali, declared that the pieces that were looted by terrorists and hidden in various places in the northern countryside of Homs included glass vessels of different sizes and shapes dating back to the Roman period, coins dating back to the Roman, Byzantine and Islamic periods, and bronze statues and tools dating back to the Roman period.
