Homs bids farewell to the martyrs of the terrorist attack

Homs (ST): Crowds of people bade farewell today to the martyrs who fell two days ago when terrorists ambushed their vehicle on the road between Deir Ezzour and Palmyra. 

Official and popular figures in addition to crowds of people from Homs governorate marched in the funeral in appreciation of the sacrifices offered by martyrs  in defence of their homeland and people.

The families of the martyrs expressed pride in their sons’ martyrdom, hoping that the blood of martyrs will lead to a great victory that eliminates terrorism.

The father of martyr Adel Tiba from the village of Al-Shattaye in Homs Countryside expressed pride in the martyrdom of his eldest son stressing that martyrdom is a medallion of honour for every Syrian citizen who defends his homeland and people.

Amal, the sister of martyr Sha’aban Abdel Aziz, expressed pride in the martyrdom of her brother affirming that the steadfastness of Syrian people would continue unabated and the martyrdom of heroes of the Syrian Arab army is the compass of victory. 

Last Wednesday, a vehicle was targeted by a terrorist attack on Deir Ezzour Palmyra highway that resulted in the martyrdom of 25 people and the wounding of 13 others.
