Health Ministry, UNICEF review the ways of ensuring medical equipment to offer the best services to citizens

DAMASCUS, April.26, (ST)- The Minister of Health Hassan Al-Ghabbash discussed on Tuesday with the Regional Director of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in the Middle East and North Africa Adel Khader ways of ensuring medical equipment that provides services to citizens and the vaccination campaign against Corona Virus.  
 
Al-Ghabbash stressed the importance of coordination regarding the priorities of the health sector set by the ministry and the challenges it faces in the light of the unilateral economic measures and the blockade imposed on Syria.
 
He called for more support with the aim of offering health services to citizens at a suitable time, expressing his thanks for the efforts of the UNICEF in Syria.
 
For her part, Khader affirmed readiness for more coordination and cooperation, noting the efforts exerted by the ministry at all levels.
