HASAKAH, Jul.4, (ST)- Today, Hasakah Governorate honored 130 wounded soldiers in appreciation of their sacrifices and heroism, which they offered in defending the homeland.
The honoring ceremony, which took place in the headquarters of the Governorate, included the distribution of clothes provided by the Syrian Al-Yamamah Charitable Society, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha.
During the ceremony, the Governor of Al-Hasakah Ghassan Khalil said that the honoring reflects the care for the wounded of the Syrian Army, although everything that is offered to them will not be remembered in comparison with the greatness of their sacrifices and heroisms that they made to keep Syria steadfast and strong.
For his part, the Member of the Board of Directors of the Charitable Society, Ismail Taha, declared that the honoring included 130 wounded soldiers, who offered great sacrifices, pointing out a basket of clothes is allocated to each wounded soldier as an appreciation of all they offered for the sake of the homeland.
A number of the wounded soldiers expressed their pride in the leadership’s keenness to follow up on their affairs and to the contribution of the civil society.
The asserted that everything they gave for the sake of the homeland came within the framework of duty and responsibility to achieve victory and defeat terrorism from the homeland.
