General Ibrahim visits army forces operating in Hama, Idlib and Deir Ezzor, the wounded in Aleppo Hospital
Damascus (ST) – On the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, General Abdul Karim Mahmoud Ibrahim, Chief of the General Staff of the Army and Armed Forces, accompanied by a number of General Command officers, visited the army forces operating in the countryside of Hama, Idlib, and Deir ez-Zor, during which he conveyed to them President Bashar Al-Assad’s congratulations and wishes of good health and wellness.
General Ibrahim met with field commanders and encouraged them to spare no effort in confrontation of any attack and to focus on the priority of confronting and eliminating terrorism.
General Ibrahim visited the fighters on the front lines and was briefed on the fortifications and procedures followed by the valiant armed forces stationed on the front border facing armed terrorist organizations with the aim of deterring them and preventing them from launching any attack on our military points or safe areas, villages and towns.
In turn, the fighters stressed their high readiness and willingness to exert their utmost effort to successfully carry out all the tasks assigned to them.
At the end of his tour, General Ibrahim also visited the wounded in Aleppo Military Hospital and checked on their health conditions and conveyed to them President Bashar al-Assad’s Eid congratulations.
General Ibrahim met with the medical staff at the hospital and thanked them for their efforts, emphasizing the great responsibilities placed upon them, while they affirmed their constant readiness to exert their utmost efforts in performing their sacred national duty.
