Gaza Media Office Warns: Situation at Kamal Edwan Hospital is Catastrophic

The Media Office in Gaza warned of the aggravation of the humanitarian and health disaster due to the continuation of the Israeli occupation preventing the entry of fuel to the Kamal Edwan hospital in the northern Gaza Strip.

The office explained in a statement todaythat the situation at the Kamal Edwan hospital has become catastrophic and the coming hours will be crucial for the lives of many children inside the intensive care unit due to the running out of fuel and the occupation preventing its access to hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip, which threatens to put theses hospitals  out of order, deepening the humanitarian and health disaster and threatening the lives of more than 400 thousand Palestinians.

The office held the US administration and its partners in the genocide fully responsible for these ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people.

In a related context, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned of the lack of health services in the northern Gaza Strip, saying: “there is almost no health service anymore in the northern Gaza Strip, as Israel continues to prevent relief missions from reaching the area.
