First round of second stage of local qualifiers to participate in World Informatics Olympiad launched
With the participation of 19 teams of high school students, the first round of the second stage of the local qualifiers to participate in the International Olympiad in Informatics for Teams, which will be organized by Italy, started on Wednesday remotely.
The Distinction and Creativity Agency stated in a statement that the tests of this round included several competitive programming problems in the English language within the curriculum of the World Olympiad for Teams. The team must solve them within the specified time using the “C++” programming language exclusively.
The Agenxy indicated that the second round of exams will be held on the 9th of next February, indicating that due to the coincidence of the exams of this stage with the school exams, the qualification rules will be amended. Instead of approving the sum of the two rounds for each team, the highest score in the two rounds will be approved for each team. The percentage of the full mark in each of the two rounds will be calculated and then the higher percentage will be adopted.
