Israeli settlers escalate their terrorism against the Palestinians

The Israeli settlers have escalated their terrorism against the Palestinians under the heavy protection of the Israeli occupation forces. They have stormed into the West Bank cities and towns and violated Islamic and Christian sanctities with the aim of implementing the occupation colonialist and settlement expansion schemes amid the absence of any international action to put an end to these violations.

In its weekly report published on Saturday, the Palestinian Liberation Organization’s (PLO) National Bureau for Defending the Land and Resisting Settlement said that throughout the past week, settlers’ terrorism targeted most of West Bank cities, mainly occupied Al-Quds. Thousands of settlers, protected by the occupation forces, stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque within the framework of their attempt to change the historical and legal status of the mosque and judaize it. They also carried out provocative tours in Al-Quds old city and the town of Al-Tur and seized the olive crops in Wadi Al-Rababa neighborhood in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa.

Hundreds of settlers, the report went on to say, stormed into the towns of Hawwara and Al-Laban Al-Sharqiya, the archeological areas in the towns of Sebastia and Al-Mas’oudiya in Nablus and several archeological sites in the center of Al-Khalil city. Many settlers also burned several farms and shops, attacked houses and agricultural facilities and assaulted Palestinian farmers and seized their olive crops in several West Bank areas.

According to the report, the Israeli occupation forces turned the old cities in Al-Quds and Al-Khalil into military barracks and closed the entrances of the city of Nablus as well as several towns in the West Bank to prevent the Palestinians from leaving or entering these areas so that they facilitate the settler’s raids into Al-Aqsa Mosque.
