Expatriates’ Role in Tourism – Underlined

DAMASCUS, (ST)_ Tourism minister Bisher Yazigi has underscored on Tuesday the important role played by Syrian expatriates in revealing the truth of what is happening in Syria of systematic destruction committed by terrorist organizations against Syrian’s historical and tourism monuments.

During his meeting with president of Syrian community association in Italy Jamal Abu Abbas, the minister thanked the expatriates for organizing many activities and popular events recently in Italy.

“The big bet in the coming era will be on the expatriates and their contribution in the re-construction phase,” Yazaji added.

For his part, Abu Abbas pointed out that the association held 5-days activities in four regions and eight public schools in Italy, where many journalists, MPs and professors took part to raise awareness among Italian people about what is happening in Syria.

“It is the duty on every Syrian to provide all means to protect and defend his country,” Abu Abbas said.

He affirmed that the activities of the association will be extended to all Europe countries.
