Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor: The occupation is deliberately destroying all basic necessities of life in the Gaza Strip

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor confirmed that the Israeli occupation army is deliberately destroying all basic necessities of life in the Gaza Strip, and committing mass murders, each of which constitutes a full-fledged international crime.

“The occupation is escalating its targeting of all aspects and basic components of life in Gaza City and the north of Gaza Strip, to make them an unlivable places, and push their residents to forcibly and involuntarily leave towards the southern areas of Gaza Strip.” The monitor said in a statement on Saturday.
The statement added “The occupation intensified its aggression in parallel with the implementation of the crime of genocide based on the crimes of mass murder, starvation and thirst, deprivation of medical care, intimidation, arbitrary detentions, torture, expulsion of Palestinians from their homes, and evacuating the areas.”
The Monitor indicated that the occupation insists on preventing any attempt to restore the minimum aspects and means of living in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip, and making life impossible there, to coerce the population and push them to forcibly comply with displacement orders.
The statement pointed out that the occupation forced the Palestinians to head to the central Gaza Strip, at a time when it intensified the aerial bombardment on those areas, and launched dozens of raids that led to the martyrdom of more than 160 Palestinians, the majority of whom were women and children, including a large number of displaced people، during the past week.
