Ankara (ST) The Turkish journalist, Sihan Afshar, revealed that she was threatened after exposing the relationship between a drug dealer and the Turkish regime’s intelligence service.
The Turkish newspaper, Zaman, quoted Afshar as saying on Saturday that she had received threats through social media because she wrote that a person named Barish Doyo, who is working with the Turkish intelligence and affiliated with the Turkish mafia leader Alaeddin Çakıcı, was arrested with 16 kg of heroin.
She added that she would file a lawsuit against those who threatened her, and said, “if anything happens to me, those who are responsible are known’.
