Dozens of Israeli settlers storm into Al-Aqsa Mosque

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST)- Dozens of Israeli settlers today stormed into Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Wafa News Agency reported that the settlers stormed into Al-Aqsa in successive groups, and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards under the protection of the occupation forces, which tightened their military measures in the Old City of  Al-Quds (Jerusalem), deployed their soldiers  at the gates of the mosque, and imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers.

In a related context, the minister in the occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, continues to incite against Al-Aqsa and confirmed that he wants to build a synagogue in the mosque.

These statements by Ben Gvir are the first in which he has spoken about building a synagogue inside Al-Aqsa Mosque after he called many times in the past months to escalate settlers’ storming into the mosque.

Ben Gvir had stormed into Al-Aqsa several times, which sparked rejection and condemnation from the international community, with emphasis on the need to preserve the legal and historical status quo in the mosque and in the occupied city of Al-Quds.
