Donetsk: 117 children and minors killed as a result of the Ukrainian bombing during 8 years

Donetsk (ST): Dmitry Kalashnikov, head of the Forensic Medical Office of the Ministry of Health of the Donetsk People’s Assembly, announced that 117 children and minors were killed during eight years of Ukrainian aggression on the territory of the republic.

The Russia Today website quoted Kalashnikov as saying that “according to the confirmed data that we have, 117 children and minors under the age of eighteen have been killed in the territory of the republic and the Donetsk region over the past eight years, including 35 children who have died since February of this year, most of them were victims of unexploded Ukrainian ordnance in April and May.

Kalashnikov said that with the decrease in the intensity of hostilities, children began to come out of hiding more often and find grenades, launchers, unexploded mines and other types of weapons left by Ukrainian militants and caused the death of innocent people.
