Czech Party asserts U.S. seeks to weaken Russia, not to bring peace to Ukraine

PRAGUE, JUL.6, (ST)- The head of the Czech Moravian Communist Party and a member of the European Parliament, Katerjina Konecna, confirmed that the major strategy of the United States since the end of the Cold War is to weaken Russia, so it does not want to bring peace to Ukraine and seeks to continue the war.

In an interview with the Parliamentary Papers website, Konica warned of the consequences of the West continuing to pour more weapons, ammunition and money into the war in Ukraine, stressing that this matter brings Europe closer to the outbreak of a major war.

For his part, former Czech Deputy Foreign Minister Peter Drulak confirmed in a similar interview that the war in Ukraine actually started as an Anglo-American project that Europe was drawn into, warning that European support for American policy towards Ukraine and the continuation of the war is devastating to Europe.

Drulak asserted that what is happening is a clear subordination by the Europeans to the United States, pointing out that the Europeans are paying huge expenses for this war, unlike the Americans, who are satisfied with preoccupying Russia and weakening it through this war.

He pointed out that this war must stop because it is taking place at the expense of the Europeans and Ukrainians.
