Coronavirus deaths around the world are close to four million

Capitals, (ST) –  The death toll from infection with coronavirus around the world since its appearance in December 2019 has approached four million, while the number of infections has exceeded 184 million and 798 thousand, according to the latest statistics of the American Worldometer website.

According to the site managed by developers and operators, the total number of coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 18,479,8513, and the total deaths are 3,997,096, while the total number of recoveries from coronavirus infection has reached 1,6912,083 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths with 621,315 deaths out of 34596,348 infections followed by India with 403,308 deaths out of 30618,468 infections, and Brazil third, with 524,475 deaths out of 1, 8769808 infections.
