Corona virus kills more than three million and 477 thousand people around the world

Capitals (ST): The new Corona virus has claimed the lives of more than three million and 477 thousand people around the world since its outbreak in December 2019, according to the latest statistics of the American worldometer site.

According to the site the total number of Corona infections around the world has so far reached 167501943 cases, and the total deaths reached 3477581 cases, while the total cases of recovery from the virus have reached 148491512 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 604,075 deaths out of 33895,500 cases, followed by India with 303751 deaths out of 26751681 cases, and Brazil third, with 449,068 deaths out of 16083,258 cases.
