Corona virus deaths around the world exceed five million and 78 thousand cases

Capitals (ST): The number of Corona virus infections around the world since its outbreak began in December 2019 has reached 251 million and 492 thousand, while deaths have exceeded more than five million and 78 thousand cases, according to the latest statistics of the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of coronavirus infections around the world has so far reached 25,149,2130, and the total number of deaths has reached 50,78,234, while the total number of recoveries has reached 227,665,243.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 777,696 deaths out of 47508574 infections, followed by India with 461,827 deaths out of 3,438,786 infections, and Brazil third, with 609,756 deaths from 2,1897025 infections.
