Corona infections around the world exceed 248 million and 226 thousand

Capitals (ST): The number of new infections with the Corona virus around the world has exceeded 248 million and 226 thousand since it first appeared in December 2019, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the site, the total number of corona infections around the world has so far reached 24,822,687, while the total number of deaths has reached 5027,564.

 

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 768,672 deaths out of 469,67805 cases, followed by India with 459,203 deaths out of 34306,177 cases, and Brazil third, with 608,071 deaths from 2,182,1124 infections.
