Corona deaths around the world are close to five million

Capitals (ST): The death toll from infection with the Corona virus around the world since its outbreak in December 2019 has approached five million cases, while infections have exceeded more than 245 million and 184 thousand infections, according to the latest statistics from the American World Meters website.

According to the website, the total number of corona virus infections around the world has so far reached 245,184,731 cases, and the total number of deaths has reached 4,976,821 cases, while the total number of recoveries from infection with the virus has reached 2,22245,010 cases.

The United States continues to lead the countries most affected by the virus in terms of infections and deaths, with 759,343 deaths out of 4,646,656 infections, followed by India with 455,684 deaths out of 3,4214865 infections, and Brazil third, with 605884 deaths from 2,1735560 infections.
