Commissioned by President al-Assad, Minister Azzam offers condolences to Iraq for the martyrdom of Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis
On January 7, Commissioned by President Bashar al-Assad, the Minister of Presidential Affairs Mansour Azzam offered condolences to Iraq on the martyrdom of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis, Deputy Head of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units and a group of his fellow fighters, at the headquarters of the Iraqi embassy in Damascus.
Minister Azzam wrote a word in the book of condolences in which he conveyed the condolences of President Al-Assad to the Iraqi leadership and the brotherly Iraqi people and to the families of the martyrs.
Minister Azzam affirmed in the speech that this crime constitutes a violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations as well as a blatant attack on the land of brotherly Iraq.
In a statement to reporters, Minister Azzam said that this sad event of the assassination of Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis is a blatant attack on the sovereignty of Iraq.
