“China’s Views-The Syrian War and Europe” a Book by Chinese Researchers Translated by Safwan Bahloul

“China’s views-the Syrian war and Europe” is a book dealing with the war on Syria, the position of European countries and China’s view of it, by researchers “Zhaochen, Zhaojistu, and Huang Minming.” It was translated  from Chinese to English by “Zhang Zhou” and from English to Arabic by “Safwan Habib Bahloul”.

In the book, the translator Bahloul explained that Syria is known as the beating heart of the Arab world due to its geographical and political importance in the Middle East, as it was a battlefield between the great powers for several centuries.

Bahloul referred to what Syria has suffered since the outbreak of the” so-called Arab Spring ” and what the European powers have practiced in many regions up to Syria.

The translator highlighted the extent of US-China relations, the Syrian war, Europe and re-globalization.

Bahloul explained the repercussions of the war on Syria and the role of Europe, and reviewed the French and German policies towards Syria, the future prospects and the chronology of the intervention of the European Union, France, Britain and Germany in the war on Syria from March 2011 to August 2017. He also referred to the military deployments and air strikes of the United Kingdom and France in Syria and the surrounding region in 2011, as well as the promotion of sanctions against Syria,financing and arming the Syrian “opposition”, and the threat of military action eventually.

In the book, the translator explained the changes in power in the Gulf region and the Middle East , air strikes in the Middle East , French security and French defense policy during the war on Syria.. He also referred to the complex of the French superpower and the history of its policy towards Syria.

The main factors influencing the British policy towards Syria, the impact of the refugee crisis and the analysis of the German policy towards Syria were also among the issues raised by the book.
