China urges “Israel” to immediately stop the war on Gaza

China has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation’s crime of bombing Al-Tab’een School sheltering displaced people in the Gaza Strip, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of hundreds of Palestinians.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said at a regular press conference today: “China is deeply concerned about the large number of civilian casualties caused by the Israeli military attacks in Gaza Strip,” adding: “We condemn any act that harms civilians, oppose any violation of international humanitarian law and call on “Israel” to heed international calls, immediately cease fire, and end the war on Gaza.”

Jian stressed the need to protect civilians and avoid further escalation, stressing that the international community should exert more concerted efforts to alleviate and end the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza Strip.

It is worth noting that more than 100 Palestinians were killed and dozens were injured last Saturday morning when the occupation forces bombed a school housing thousands of displaced people in Al-Daraj neighborhood in Gaza City with three American missiles, each weighing more than 2,000 pounds of explosives.
