On the occasion of Labor and Martyrs’ Days, and with the participation of more than 13 women and a number of children, a charity bazaar was inaugurated today in the city of Jaramana in Damascus countryside, in cooperation with the Arab Socialist Baath Party branch and the local community.
The bazaar aims to enhance the role of women in society, support women, and provide a place for them to display and introduce their products, in addition to encouraging the local community to support them by marketing their products.
The activities and events are an affirmation of the ability of Syrian women to overcome all difficult circumstances, stand by their families and support them economically.
The bazaar supports women and takes suggestions from visitors and participants to develop women skills and display children’s crafts made of beads and thread.
The participants displayed various products, such as antiques and candlesticks made of wax and gypsum as well as other handicrafts, such as bracelets and rings.
