Shanghai (ST)-Cham Wings Airlines is participating in the China International Import Expo (CIIE 2024) within the Syrian pavilion (Hall 5-2) alongside the Ministry of Tourism and a number of Syrian tourism offices and companies.
The company explained in a statement that its participation in the exhibition, which opened yesterday, Tuesday, at the Shanghai Economic City Exhibition and Conference Center in China, with the participation of more than 3,500 exhibitors from various specialties, industrial, commercial and service activities from about 129 countries in the world, comes from its belief in the importance of the Chinese market in particular and the Far East markets in general, and to introduce the company, its destinations and services related to transporting passengers and shipping goods by air, and the possibility of linking these countries with Syria, where demand is growing and potential opportunities exist in these markets.
The company indicated that it has been keen in the past to be present in various international and regional exhibitions and conferences in order to expand the scope of its flights and activities to different new destinations that serve the national economy, in addition to its role in introducing the Syrian tourism product in these forums on a permanent basis, which is considered one of the most important elements of attraction due to its historical, cultural and natural diversity witnessed by all countries.
The company pointed out that its participation in the exhibition was remarkable for many people interested in the field of travel, tourism and air freight, indicating that it works within an integrated strategy in the short and long term to achieve the increasing requirements and needs in the travel market while continuing its commitment to quality, safety and security standards.
The activities of the seventh session of the China International Import Expo, which will continue until the tenth of this November, were launched yesterday with the participation of Syria, as the Ministry of Economy and Foreign Trade, represented by the Authority for Supporting and Developing Local Production and Exports, and in cooperation with the General Organization for Exhibitions and International Markets, organized the Syrian participation for the first time in the activities of this exhibition, with a pavilion with an area of 132 square meters, including representatives from the public and private sectors and with the participation of the Ministry of Tourism, as thousands of visitors and interested parties flock to visit this economic event every year.
