Cartoonist Raed Khalil wins a prize at the International TechVertu Contest in Britain

 The Syrian cartoonist Raed Khalil has recently won the “Achievement Prize” at the International TechVertu Contest for Caricature in Britain.

Khalil was among 147 cartoonists from 43 countries participating in this cultural event whose theme for this year was “Challenges of Information Technology and Work” .

Khalil’s winning painting depicted the way people deal with social media websites.

Besides Khalil, contestors from Iran and Ukraine won the competition’s prizes.

A few days ago, Khalil won a prize at the 9th Salon des Cartons and Visual Arts  festival in Romania.
