Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said that the experiments proved that the Zionist entity poses a threat not only to the Palestinian people, but to the entire Islamic nation.
During his meeting with Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Moallem Faki Ahmed on the sidelines of the Jeddah conference of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Bagheri Kani touched upon the crimes of the Zionist enemy over the past ten months against the defenseless Palestinian people, and said: “experiences have proven that Israel is not only a danger to the Palestinian people, but threatens the entire Islamic nation, and that requires the nation’s countries to take political positions and practical steps to confront the threats of this entity.”
Welcoming Somalia’s proposal to “prepare the ground for the resumption of relations with Iran,” Bagheri said, “We do not limit ourselves to any restrictions in the development and improvement of relations with African countries.
For his part, Faki Ahmed noted the role played by Iran in supporting the Palestinian cause, the rights of the oppressed Palestinian people, as well as its unwavering support for the stability and security of Somalia in the face of terrorism, expressing his country’s determination to work to expand relations between the two countries.
