Bagheri Kani: Governments must work to stop the Zionist genocide in the Gaza Strip

Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani denounced the international community’s silence regarding the Zionist genocidal crimes against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
“The occupying entity is committing widespread genocide before the eyes of the international community, and does not hesitate to commit the most serious international crimes,” The Iranian news agency quoted Bagheri Kani as saying
He expressed his regret that the international system has not been able to take effective measures to put an end to these heinous crimes as the  occupation entity continues to implement the policy of collective punishment.
Bagheri Kani warned that the continuation of the crimes of the occupying entity has become possible in light of the support it receives from Western countries, especially the United States, stressing the necessity that all governments must  make efforts to stop the crimes and genocide committed by the Zionists in Gaza.
“We are aware of our responsibility as a member of the international community, the United Nations and the Islamic world, and we will exploit every opportunity and every means to help Gaza, Bagheri Kani said.
He indicated that among the priorities is stopping the Zionist entity’s attacks on civilians, by exerting diplomatic, political, economic and legal pressure , sending humanitarian aid immediately to the people  of Gaza and  opening border crossings.
Bagheri also stressed the necessity of  preventing forced migration, providing conditions for the return of the displaced and rebuilding Gaza after the withdrawal of the occupation forces, and adjudicating grave violations of international law and international humanitarian law by the occupation forces.
The acting Iranian foreign minister called for the necessity of ending the illegal Zionist occupation of the Palestinian territories, granting the Palestinian people the right to self-determination, and reviving justice in order to achieve sustainable peace.
