Bagheri Kani calls on Islamic countries to employ their capabilities to put an end to crimes against Palestinians in Gaza

Acting Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani said: Today in Gaza we are witnessing genocide by the Israeli enemy, but despite this, the people of Gaza continue to remain steadfast, calling on Islamic countries to employ their capabilities to put an end to the crimes committed against them.
The Iranian news agency IRNA quoted Bagheri Kani as saying in a joint press conference with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, today: “If the Americans want to seize political initiatives to stop the war and bloodshed in Gaza, they must abandon sending weapons and military aid to the Zionist invaders and aggressors, indicating that all countries of the region should stand alongside each other to build a safe and stable region, while these Zionists are the ones who have shown that they are the main cause of escalation and instability.
The Iranian official pointed out that Iran demonstrated during Operation “True Promise” that Tehran will use all its capabilities and energies for the stability, peace and security of the region and will not allow the Zionist aggressors to undermine the stability and security of the Middle East.
Bagheri Kani stressed Tehran’s determination to strengthen solidarity between Iran and Iraq in a way that serves the security of the region and expands economic relations.
For his part, the Iraqi Foreign Minister warned of the Israeli occupation’s attempts to expand the scope of the war, stressing that these attempts will affect the entire region, explaining that his country is determined to strengthen its cooperation with Iran in a way that serves the interests of the two countries and the two peoples.
