Cairo – Al-Azhar University has described the Israeli aggression on Jenin city as a blatant terrorism and a flagrant attack on the international humanitarian law, calling for adopting a unified Arab and Islamic stance against the Israeli violations in occupied territories and for supporting the legitimate struggle of the Palestinian people against the occupation.
In a statement on Wednesday, Al-Azhar said the repeated attacks of the Zionist entity on the West Bank city of Jenin indicates its insistence on continuing its crimes and brutality in a kind of blatant terrorism that violates all humanitarian and moral laws and norms.
Al-Azhar urged the international community to shoulder its responsibility towards stopping the Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories and make deterrent decisions that put an end to the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians’ rights.
