Arnous puts a number of projects into service in Deir Ezzour

DEIR EZZOUR, JUN.1, (ST)-Today, Prime Minister Eng, Hussein Arnous, at the head of a government delegation, started a visit to Deir Ezzour Governorate to put a number of development and tourism projects into service.

According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the premier  re-operated the “Al-Wafa” government irrigation project in Deir Ezzour after its rehabilitation, at a cost of more than 20 billion Syrian pounds.

The project irrigates 1,320 hectares of agricultural land in the western Al-Bukamal countryside.

The agency added that Arnous  inspected  the works of the rehabilitation project of sewage water wells in the third sector of government irrigation , inaugurated the “Baath” bridge after its rehabilitation at a cost of more than 7 billion Syrian pounds, and opened the 5-star  “Badeyet Al-Sham” hotel after its rehabilitation and development at a cost of about 19 billion Syrian pounds،

The hotel will ensure 150 job opportunities.

The accompanying government delegation includes Ministers of Water Resources, Tourism, Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
