Army seizes control of 15 villages in Aleppo countryside, inflicts losses upon al-Nusra terrorists

Aleppo – The Syrian Arab Army units, in cooperation with allied forces, seized control of new villages and areas in southern Aleppo countryside, eliminating the last gatherings and fortified positions of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and its linked groups.

SANA said that army units, in cooperation with the allied forces, on Saturday continued their advance in the villages and areas where terrorists of Jabhat al-Nusra and its affiliated groups are positioned, regaining control of Qaiqan, Ayyubiya, Kafr Abish, Bluzeh, al-Muntar, al-Safa, Tallil al-Safa, Kafr Kar, Banan, Um Jurn, al-Zera’a, Burj al-Rumman, Hafrat al-Hoss, Abu Ghatta and Jib Jasim.

 

SANA added that the swift and accurate operations resulted in the elimination of many terrorists and the destruction of their weapons and equipment.

Engineering units, according to the reporter, combed the villages and towns to remove the mines and explosive devices planted by terrorists between the homes of citizens,  main streets and public squares.

Over the past two days, army units regained control of the villages of Oum Ankash, al-Salihiye, Burj Hussein Daher, Tal Soma’a, Jub Atnash Foqani, Jub Atnash Tahtani, Suhour, al-Hardana, al-Asadiya, Rasm al-Ameesh, Huwair al-Hoss, al-Banawi, Jub al-A’ama, Um Khan and Um al-Amad Qebli.
