Arab Parliament calls for intensifying humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of people in Gaza

Cairo, (ST) – The Arab Parliament called for unifying all humanitarian efforts to alleviate the pain and suffering of the Palestinian people from the brutality of the Israeli occupation.

WAFA News Agency on Monday quoted the parliament as saying in a statement on the occasion of the International Humanitarian Day, which falls on August 19 of each year: The occupation threatens humanitarian work in the Strip due to undermining the role of UNRWA, which represents the most important element in the humanitarian response operations in Gaza, due to its vital and indispensable role.

The parliament called for unifying humanitarian efforts at the international level, in the light of the severity of the repercussions of the difficult and exceptional circumstances that many countries of the world are going through.
