Arab Parliament and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Condemn the Israeli Massacre in al-Tabe’in school in Gaza
The Arab Parliament condemned the Israeli occupation’s bombing of the “Tabe’in ” school, which shelters displaced people in the Al-Daraj neighborhood east of Gaza City, calling this as a terrorist and inhumane act that represents a flagrant violation and disregard for all international laws and norms.
The Arab Parliament said in a statement today quoted by WAFA News Agency: ” the occupation committed this massacre at a time when efforts are being concerted to reach a final and lasting ceasefire in Gaza Strip, which reflects the criminal nature of this entity, that does not know a way to peace and stability, insists on not obeying any agreements and continues to complete the crimes of genocide, flouting international legitimacy resolutions and international laws.
The parliament called on the international community and the Security Council to take immediate action to stop these grave violations and ensure the protection of the Palestinian people, reiterating its demand to hold the leaders of the occupation accountable for the crimes they commit against the Palestinians.
For its part, the OIC considered this crime as an extension of the brutal massacres and the crime of genocide being committed by the occupation for more than ten months in Gaza Strip in flagrant violation of international law, the orders of the International Court of justice and the relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
The organization held the Israeli occupying forces fully responsible for these ongoing crimes, reiterating its call for the accountability of the occupying Power “Israel” for all war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in Gaza Strip and the West Bank, including the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem).
The organization called on the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to put pressure on the occupation entity to immediately stop the aggression on Gaza Strip and provide international protection to the Palestinian people.
