Damascus Countryside (ST): Rasha did not know that her fondness for Damascus, a city, a society, and history might one day be her gateway to the world of creativity and work.
Young woman, mother, and human rights lawyer Rasha Kishik realized early that her city, which is full of authenticity and civilization, contains many hidden gems. It is hard but she tired to master embroidery, crochet, mosaic, painting and copper-smithing.
She says: I was able to learn these crafts and acquire their techniques to excel in manual labor in its various forms, whether using wood, resin, or accessories, as well as making leather and drawing on glass.
Traditional artifacts with a modern flavor is the title under which Rasha’s works are covered, as the young woman chose to give her products her own imprint by choosing attractive designs and shapes that draw the attention of customers of different ages after coordinating them in an elegant and striking way. She explained that her work was not limited to handicraft and selling these pieces of art Rather, it went beyond to coordinating various events such as weddings and parties, which expanded the scope of the project, that bears the name “Antique” and doubled its financial and creative balance, even though it started with a very modest capital.
