Development expert Akram Afif revealed an initiative he founded and began working on in cooperation with the Creativity Bank to finance family projects.
Afif explained that the Syrian Family Projects Group was established to sponsor projects carried out by some families to support themselves and the Creativity Bank provides the necessary funding to improve any successful family project, regardless of its type.
Afif added that currently an electronic marketing platform and creating a database to monitor licensed projects that can be licensed by the governmental agencies, so that the project is given five years as a family project without a permanent license, after which it turns into a permanent one.
He added that these Afamily projects are not only agricultural, but also food, commercial, industrial, or any family project that proves its worth.
According to Afif, the role of the Creativity Bank does not stop at financing, but also works on marketing, and may extend to purchasing some products and holding exhibitions and marketing platforms.
There are currently many projects, about 12 projects related to jams only, and many projects related to pickles and others which will be to developed in terms of quantity and quality in an attempt to reach an export product and engage the energies of the largest possible number of Syrians.
