Algeria Demands holding Israeli occupation accountable for Systematic Crimes in Palestinian Territories
Algeria demanded that the Israeli occupation be held accountable for crimes and systematic and flagrant violations of international humanitarian law in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
“Blocking the entry of humanitarian aid and targeting humanitarian workers are not individual behaviors or mistakes, but a policy pursued by the Israeli occupier to kill hope in the souls of Palestinians and humiliate them,” the Palestinian WAFA Agency quoted Algeria’s Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, Nasim Qawawi, as saying in a speech during a session of the UN Security Council on the situation in the Middle East.
Qawawi warned of the danger of the spread of diseases and epidemics, including cholera, in the Gaza Strip as a result of the occupation’s continuous aggression against it since the 7th of last October.
