Al-Ruwaidi: Israeli occupation’s seizure of the Palestinians’ lands is part of its plans to Judaize Jerusalem

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Jun.29, (ST)- The Palestinian Presidency’s Advisor for Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi said that the Israeli occupation’s seizure of the Palestinians’ lands  in the Old City of occupied Al-Quds city [Jerusalem] to give them to settlers is part of its plans to Judaize it.

Al-Ruwaidi clarified in a statement released on Wednesday that the occupation’s seizure of lands in different areas of the Old City and its surroundings, especially in the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Umayyad Palaces area, and near the neighborhoods of Wadi Hilweh and Al-Thawri in Silwan, aims to encircle the Old City and impose Israeli control over it.

He indicated that the occupation wants to obliterate the features of these lands and to change their historical identity, which proves the reality of the Arab, Islamic and Christian city.

The advisor asserted that Palestine will continue to work with the international community to stop the occupation’s flagrant violations of international charters and UN resolutions.
