DAMASCUS,(ST)- Hazem al-Nao, the promising tennis player, has finished as a runner-up in the Asia Tennis Championship which was held in Thailand.

Commenting on al-Nao’s accomplishment, Waseem Zeiniya, the Syrian Arab Tennis Federation member, was quoted by the official News Agency as saying: “undoubtedly, thisa chievement (al-Nao’s) is branded as a big victory for the Syrian sport in general and the Tennis Federation in particular. AL-Nao was able to defeat experienced players from Asia including the S.Koreans, Chinese, Vietnamese and others”.
