About 10,000 titles of books in a book fair in Tartous

The book fair, which was hosted by the Exhibition Hall at the Arab Cultural Center in Tartous, included about 10,000 titles of literary, cultural, political, social and critical books, in addition to international novels, studies, scientific literature, children’s books and other publications.

 

About the exhibition, which is being held by Majd Bookshop in cooperation with Dar Al Takween for Printing and Publishing, Hassan Younes, Head of the Majd bookshop told SANA that the 21st session of the book fair this year is characterized by displaying more scientific books than in previous years, along with the novel and human development books, as they are the most popular and ordered by visitors of book fairs in general.

Among the visitors to the exhibition, university students Maria and Thana Ali and Faisal Melhem, who are interested in culture, stressed that the book fair is distinguished by its organization, its richness and diversity of books , and the valuable books that meet the needs of the reader, the intellectual and the student, and encourage them to acquire books.
