Beirut, (ST)- A woman was injured in Israeli artillery shelling that targeted the town of Shaqra in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the Health Emergency Operations Center affiliated with the Ministry of Public Health said in a statement that an enemy artillery shelling targeted the town of Shaqra, which resulted in a citizen being injured, which necessitated her admission to the hospital for treatment.
The enemy artillery shelling in addition targeted the area between the towns of Al-Jbeen and Tayr Harfa, while the outskirts of the town of Zebqin, the neighboring valleys, and the outskirts of the town of Barashit were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling.
The border villages adjacent to the Blue Line in the western and central sectors experienced a tense night, as the Israeli enemy fired flares into their skies.
