A solidarity stand organized by the Palestinian Progressive Women’s Organization in support of Palestine and Lebanon

The Palestinian Progressive Women’s Organization organized a solidarity stand in front of the United Nations headquarters in Damascus, in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples in confronting the killing machine and criminality of the Zionist entity in the region, and in denunciation of  its crimes, especially against children and women.
In a memorandum addressed to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the participants in the solidarity stand  demanded an end to the aggression and genocidal war in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and Lebanon, the protection of children and women.
They also called for  the release of prisoners, the entry of medical and food aid into the Strip, and an end to the daily raids, killings and arrests in Palestinian cities and villages.
The participants also called for an end to all forms of torture against Palestinian prisoners, for pressure  to be applied on the occupation to allow the International Red Cross to access the prisoners and check on their conditions, to allow visits by families and lawyers as well as  release the bodies of martyrs held by the entity.
The Palestinian Progressive Women’s Organization  denounced the illegal measures against UNRWA, which is a living witness to the catastrophe of the Palestinian people, after the occupying entity issued laws prohibiting its work in occupied Palestine, noting that these measures are a blatant continuation of the war of genocide to which the Palestinian people are being subjected.
