A Forum for the Wounded of the Army from all the provinces in Wadi Al-Nadarah

Homs, (ST) – The team of “Lamat Ezz and Honor”, (glory and honor gathering), has recently held a forum for the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army with the participation of more than 40 wounded from various Syrian governorates, including al-Sweida, Lattakia, Tartous, Homs, Damascus, Raqqa, Aleppo and Hama in the tourist resort of Al-Khair in Wadi Al-Nadarah area in the western countryside of Homs.
Lara Issa Al- Abbas, a member of the team and a teacher at Tartous University, said that the forum aims to gather the wounded from various Syrian governorates to communicate with each other and learn from their experiences, as well as, how to practice their lives naturally, especially with the presence of wounded people who have exceeded their wounds and injuries and excel in many areas especially in sports.
For his part, the wounded Hassan Abdan, reviewed the program of the forum and its various tourist, recreational and technical activities, pointing to the role of the Forum in helping the wounded to learn how to familiarize their selves with their wounds and overcome their injury.

For her part, D. Rania Hassan, a doctor at Tartous University and a volunteer in the service of the wounded of Syrian Arab Army since 2011, drew attention to the importance of this forum, which is the first of its kind in Syria, in providing psychological support to the wounded and communicating with each other, stressing the importance of organizing other meetings during the coming period.
The wounded Ebaa Bassel Azzam, from Sweida, stressed the importance of these events to keep the wounded in contact with each other by saying:” Holding such events prove to all that we are able to adapt to our injury and follow our lives naturally.”
