A cultural festival for the Qandil Forum in Dar Al-Assad in Lattakia

This event has its peculiarity from the point of view of the invitation made by the Directorate of Culture in Lattakia to support the forums and their active role in Syrian culture, which in turn reflects the humanitarian and societal role of Syria and its people.

The beginning was with the historical researcher Ghassan Abdullah, who gave a speech entitled: (Cultural Reality between Motivations and Obstacles).

The poet “Tammam Hammoud” (a member of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation branch) also presented a collection of his poems that dealt with human subjects and passions.

The forum also had guests from other forums in Lattakia, where Hassan Al-Khatib, director of the (Sami) Cultural Forum, participated in this celebration with a literary word, and saluted every real cultural building that contributes to the reconstruction and building of man.

Syrian expatriate “Haitham Sukour” said: “We are ambassadors for our country because we tried to break Caesar’s law, this law that is unjust to our beloved country, Syria.

The Palestinian-Syrian expatriate Hani Jalbout also spoke about the expatriate conference that was held recently in Damascus and the enormous facilities provided by the Syrian government in hosting this conference and making it a success.
