Foreign Ministry spokesman said that any decision be taken by Iranian Supervisory Committee on Implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action is binding.
Asked about Deputy Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi’s protest to US over the blatant breach of the JCPOA by the US Congress visa waiver program by including Iran in a novel sanctions, Hossein Jaber-Ansari said that in order to implement the JCPOA in addition to the Iranian supervisory committee, the JCPOA envisaged special supervisory panel for the two parties to refer to when a dispute arises.
‘In Iran a national committee under the same name has been formed to supervise over the entire process of implementing the JCPOA,’ he added.
He said that the Foreign Ministry as the leading organ in charge of foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran will honor any decision be made by the Iranian JCPOA Supervisory Committee.
‘Iran will therefore regulate its policies in accordance with that committee’s decisions,’ he said.
Termination of sanctions, golden opportunity for Iranian exporters
In Karaj, Deputy minister of industries, mines and commerce Mohammad-Reza Modoudi said that termination of sanctions would be a golden opportunity for Iranian exporters.
He made the remarks at a ceremony to praise the model industrialists of Alborz province.
He said that although lifting the sanctions can lead to a golden opportunity for Iranian exporters there are certain required parameters, such a competing capabilities that need to be well developed in order to achieve the goal.
‘The latest scientific achievements are at the service of boosting the competing capabilities and we need to attract investors who have the scientific and technical capabilities for marketing with reliance on traditional approach we cannot achieve a satisfactory share in the target markets,’ he added.
He said that the world has a positive approach towards Iran and this is a golden opportunity which needs to be properly used and managed, otherwise, the opportunity can turn into a threat.
‘We are currently busy providing the required infrastructures for foreign investment and efforts are underway to render support and incentives for exports,’ he said.
