Mortar attack wounds 9 in Damascus

DAMASCUS,(ST)_At least 9 civilians were hurt in mortar attack carried out by terrorists on al-Qassa’a quarter in Damascus on Sunday, according to a police command source.

The source made clear that 2 mortar shells hit the ‘Adib Ishaq’ Street in al-Qassa’a quarter where 9 civilians were hurt and they were admitted to the French Hospital and the Red Crescent Hospital.

A third mortar shell fell on the outskirts of Berj al-Ros area in the same quarter, leaving material damage to several shops and cars.

Al-Qassa’a quarter is located north the flashpoint Jobar quarter in which terrorist outposts exist.

The US, France, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Israel support terrorist organizations operating in Syria, world media reports confirm.
