Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemns the storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque by ministers and settlers in occupation government
Occupied Al-Quds- (ST)- The Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the storming of ministers in the Israeli occupation government and hundreds of settlers into Al-Aqsa Mosque and carrying out provocative tours in its courtyards, in addition to turning the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) into a military barracks, and attacking Palestinians and their property.
In a statement reported by Wafa Agency, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry considered that the campaigns of insults and racist slogans launched by settlers against ministers and members of the Knesset in the occupation government, and their implementation of provocative tours inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, constitute a dangerous violation of the sanctity of the Blessed Mosque, stressing that Jerusalem is an integral part of the occupied Palestinian territory and the capital of a Palestine state.
The Foreign Ministry indicated that these violations are an escalation of the Israeli aggression against the Holy City, its people and its sanctities in light of the continuation of the genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and the escalation of crimes and violations by the occupation forces and settlers in the occupied West Bank, with the aim of blowing up the entire region in the service of expansionist colonial plans, calling on the international community to urgently intervene as to put an end to the occupation’s terrorism and force it to comply with the resolutions of international legitimacy and international law.
In turn, Palestine Chief Justice Mahmoud Al-Habbash condemned the storming into Al-Aqsa Mosque by Israeli settlers, led by Itamar Ben Gvir, the minister in the occupation government, under heavy guard from the occupation forces, stressing that this crime is a provocation to the feelings of Muslims and will cause unpredictable reactions.
