Kuala Lumpur (ST) – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced today that his country will prevent the ships owned by the Israeli shipping company “ZIM” from docking at any of its ports.
RT website quoted Ibrahim: “This restriction is a response to Israel’s actions that violate basic humanitarian principles and international laws.”
Ibrahim stated that the Cabinet had previously allowed ZIM’s ships to dock in Malaysia in 2002, but the current government has decided to revoke those decisions.
Punitive measures are escalating by several countries in the world against the Israeli occupation against the backdrop of its ongoing massacres and atrocities against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
