Syria Trust for Development signs a cooperation agreement with Syrian Students Union to implement joint activities in several universities

Damascus, (T) – A cooperation agreement was signed on Tuesday between the Syria Trust for Development and the National Union of Syrian Students to implement debate activities “Depators” within universities in the governorates of Damascus, Aleppo, Lattakia, and Sweida.

According to the agreement, the activities related to the debates will be implemented through organizing training courses and public debate games in which the Trust has good experience, through young community centers “manarat” that are spread in universities and that beluve in their energy.

In a statement, the CEO of the Trust Shadi Al-Ishi pointed to the importance of the debate in deepening the analytical and critical vision of youth towards fundamental issues of concern to society, and in providing the youth with skills of dialogue, expressing opinions, and how to correct them.
